Lane Changing
Objective & Rationale
Learners will be learning to change lanes, merge and overtake other vehicles legally and without interfering with the flow of traffic.Crashes can occur when changing lanes if the correct mirror and blind spot checks are not made and appropriate signals are not given. The focus will be on lane line knowledge, lane changing, overtaking, merging and the critical skill of being able to select an appropriate and safe gap within the traffic flow.
